Enhanced Access at Tudor Lodge Surgery

Following feedback from our patients; we are working together with other local practices to offer more appointments in the early mornings, evenings or at weekends. Please ask a member of the practice team to find out more. We hope you will enjoy using our enhanced access service. These appointments are prebookable through reception and online. We offer regular Saturday morning clinics for prebooked appointments with team members, these are generally for planned care such as long term condition reviews or vaccinations, please ask our Reception team if you would like more information. This Saturday services does not replace the out of hours service which can be accessed by calling 111.

Need to cancel an appointment?

Please tell us if you can not make an appointment as soon as possible – there is a large demand for appointments for both GPs and nurses and we can offer your appointment to someone else if you let us know. You can do this either on line or by telephone.

What to do when the surgery is closed

Your GP team is responsible for providing care to you during normal working hours – Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.30pm (excluding bank and public holidays).

When the surgery is closed you can see a GP (or other clinician) via 111 – telephone or online calls are free from landlines and mobiles. This is provided by Severnside Integrated Urgent Care Service (previously the GP Out-of-Hours). It is for urgent problems but not for emergencies.

To find out more about Severnside IUC and what to do when the surgery is closed, visit the SevernSide Integrated Urgent Care Service website and download the Severnside IUC Patient Leaflet.

If you have a medical emergency, you should call 999 or visit your nearest Emergency (A&E) Department, day or night. Weston Hospital A&E is open from 8am until 10pm, 7 days a week. The nearest A&E when Weston is closed is Bristol Royal Infirmary (Bristol) or Musgrove Park (Taunton).

Clevedon Minor Injury Unit (MIU)

Clevedon Minor Injury Unit (MIU) offers treatment for adults and children over 12 months of age for a wide range of minor injuries, often much faster than attending A&E.

Provided by Sirona Care and Health, you can drop in with no appointment necessary. All patients are seen by an Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP).

Visit https://www.nbt.nhs.uk/our-services/a-z-services/emergency-zone/clevedon-minor-injury-unit-miu where you can find out more information about the Clevedon MIU, the treatments they offer, including the X-Ray facilities, the opening hours, the location and how to contact them.
